Urbancrest Missions

ABOUT

Urbancrest has an outward, Kingdom-building focus regarding missions. We work with people from all nations in various ministries, including: local outreach, church plants, prisons, orphanages, leadership trainings, medical services, food distribution, and more. For a ministry to partner with Urbancrest, the Gospel must be shared and people given a chance to respond and be discipled. Through Urbancrest members’ generous giving, we provide regular, ongoing financial support to missionaries and fund specific projects like Bibles, food, clothing, training, and medicinal needs, among others.

Prayer is vital to Urbancrest Missions. We receive regular updates from ministry partners on current needs and how god is working, allowing us to specifically pray for families, projects, ministries, and salvations.

We also provide opportunities at Urbancrest for anyone to take their “next step” in missions involvement, whatever that may be for each individual. We look forward to seeing you at our annual Missions Conference in March, and hope you are encouraged and inspired upon hearing how god is working through our ministry partners – both domestically and globally. 

Urbancrest Missions Fund

The Urbancrest Missions Fund enables Urbancrest to financially support ministry and missionary partners on a long-term basis. The Missions Fund is a Kingdom investment you make in missions that goes over and above your regular tithing. The Urbancrest Mission Team then determines how the funds are utilized for maximum Kingdom impact and Gospel advancement. 100% of the financial gifts go to support both Southern Baptist and Non-Southern Baptist ministries and missions locally, nationally and internationally.

Mission Trips

Missions Trips are organized to provide opportunities for people to join Jesus in His mission, locally, domestically and internationally. These opportunities start from the first small steps through to preaching and teaching and everything in between. This includes all physical and practical abilities.

When you go, you will have opportunity to:

  • Use your God given gifts, talents and abilities to bring hope to others.
  • Broaden your worldview and experience of other people, cultures and nations.
  • Encourage missionaries on the field and support them in their efforts.
  • Grow your own faith in and knowledge of God.
  • Communicate the Gospel through word and practical help.

Urbancrest Missions Conference

The Urbancrest Missions Conference is our annual celebration of how God is moving and working in our mission and ministry partners around the world. Missions Conference week, we welcome the Missionaries we support, aiming to grow relationships, connect with other full-time missionaries, and help us “at home” connect, learn, engage, support, pray and get involved with missions.

This year’s Missions Conference theme is “Appointed to Bring Salvation.” Acts 13:47 says: “For so the Lord has commanded us, ‘I have appointed you as a light to the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’” The Lord has equipped and positioned each of us, individually, for the task of bringing Salvation to the nations. Every day, we have the opportunity to be mindful and intentional with this command, that we may be obedient to God.

Our local mission ministries are focused on  Lebanon and the surrounding areas. The goal is to meet the needs of the local community while sharing the gospel and making disciples.

At Urbancrest, we provide a wide variety of local ministries and opportunities for you to serve.

We also provide many ministry opportunities for anyone interested in discovering what missions actually is, how to use their specific gifts, or take the “next step” – whatever that might be for each individual.
